Man, I miss my chickens. Sadly, they're all deceased. They weren't actually my chickens, they came with the place we rented right after we got married. The guy who lived there before left them behind - and no coop. When we left there was only one chicken left... One day, I'll have chickens again. Love them! They're so pretty and sweet! People laugh at me when I tell them this, but it's true.
I love fresh eggs but don't want the work and heartache of keeping chickens like my grandmother did. Your white bread recipe is bar none the best I've ever made. I've passed it to family and friends. Thank you! Carol Westover Tehachapi, CA (4,000 ft. elevation and in the country)
